An Afternoon at the Fine Art Fair and Winefest in Washington, MO

2 p.m. Saturday, May 18

Enjoy the very best of news photography at the Missouri Photojournalism Hall of Fame.  Established in Washington eight years ago, the Hall of Fame is sponsored by the Missouri Press Association Foundation, the University of Missouri School of Journalism, the Washington Area Chamber of Commerce and the Washington Missourian.  Press Club member Bill Miller, director of the exhibit, will conduct the tour.  For added fun, the tour is concurrent with the Downtown Washington Fine Art Fair and Winefest featuring art from 40 regional artists, wines from 14 Missouri wineries, and musical performances.  Plan to spend a relaxing afternoon by the Missouri River.  There is no cost for the tour.

Washington is approximately 25 miles from the intersection of I-270 and I-44.  Take I-44 west to the Washington turnoff to Highway 100 west.  Washington is about nine miles from the turnoff.  Stay on Highway 100 to Jefferson St.  Turn right on Jefferson to Second St., and you will see the Hall of Fame just west of Jefferson at #8 Second St.  There is ample parking around the Hall, although it may be congested since Riverfront Park is just two blocks away.

Although there is no cost, please RSVP to Press Club office 636-230-1973 or info@stlpressclub.org by Thursday, May 16, so we can give the Hall an estimated count.  Wine, beer and light refreshments will be served.
