The rise of social media has been both a bane and a boon to journalists and their audiences. Dick Weiss, who started as a journalist with a typewriter and now tweets from time to time, shares his insights on how readers can come to terms with new media.

Dick Weiss is an award-winning writer and editor with more than three decades of experience at American newspapers. A former city editor at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Weiss started WeissWrite LLC  as a writing, editing and coaching service for anyone with a story to tell. WeissWrite  does writing workshops, ghostwriting, and editing consultations.
