Press Club shares Fredbird donation
After the Press Club of Metropolitan St. Louis honored Mike Shannon as its Media Person of the Year.....the club donated six of the Fredbirds that were not sold to the Saul Mirowitz Day School Reform Jewish Academy for its Trivia Night auction. The Fredbirds, all autographed by Mike Shannon, were donated to Press Club by Build A Bear Workshop and were used as centerpieces for the gala that was attended by over 500. Also honored at the event was Margaret Freivogel of The Beacon and Jeremy Kohler, St. Louis Post Dispatch, was also honored. Patty Bloom Photo
