Marketing St. Louis to the Nation
Join PRSA St. Louis at our February 23 meeting as St. Louis Regional Chamber & Growth Association President & CEO Dick Fleming updates us on the RCGA’s national marketing and public relations campaign for the St. Louis region.
The “St. Louis: Perfectly Centered, Remarkably Connected” campaign was launched in October 2005 as the centerpiece of a five-year economic development marketing and branding effort. The campaign seeks to provide services and raise awareness of Greater St. Louis in a way that encourages businesses to locate and expand here. By communicating why the St. Louis region is a desirable place in which to live and invest, the campaign also seeks to assist area companies in their efforts to generate capital and to attract and retain talent. Mr. Fleming has led the St. Louis RCGA for the past 12 years. Throughout his 30-year career, he has been a civic entrepreneur, engaged in private sector and civic initiatives to revitalize center cities and metropolitan communities in Atlanta, Denver and most recently St. Louis.
