Dear Journalists and Educators,

Please consider joining us on for an important conversation about issues facing members of our respective professions on Tuesday, September 18, 2007 from 1:30-4:30 at the Webster Groves School District Administration Building. This meeting is sponsored by the Metropolitan St. Louis Consortium for Educational Renewal, a partnership among Webster Groves School District, Parkway School District, the St. Louis Public Schools, Maryville University and Harris Stowe State University.

The event is being planned by a team of concerned journalists and educators from the St. Louis area as part of a nation-wide effort to enhance relationships between school leaders and the media. You are receiving this invitation because your expertise and experience as an educator and/or member of the media make you an important contributor to the discussion. Please make plans to attend this important event!

You will be receiving a packet of information in the mail within the next few days. This packet will include hard copies of the enclosed Save the Date Flyer and Meeting Agenda as well as background information about the Metropolitan St. Louis Consortium for Educational Renewal and the work of the Journalism, Education and Public Good Team.
Please RSVP your intent to join us or your regrets via email to cbear@maryville.edu.

Thank you and we hope to see you on September 18!
