Just how bad is our local business economy? What's the projection for the future? Two in-the-know experts will share their perspectives on how the St. Louis metropolitan area has been and is being affected by the recession, and what we might expect in the coming months.
Kevin L. Kliesen, an economist and speaker with the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, writes the Bank's monthly Report on Economic Activity ,their Regional Economist, and Review, as well as articles for professional economics journals. Kliesen also teaches economics at Washington University in St. Louis.
Tim Logan, a business reporter for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, covers issues concerning the economy, construction, real estate, casinos and retail.
