Midterm Elections: Prognostications
Confusing polls...alarming ads...scary candidates...witchcraft...Is it Halloween or the midterms? Get some perspective on the upcoming elections with Terry Jones at the Press Club's political forum at noon Thursday, October 28, at the Seven Gables Inn, 26 N. Meramec in Clayton. Terry Jones is professor of political science and public policy administration at the University of Missouri-St. Louis and for the past 10 years has written the "Politics and Media" column for the St. Louis Journalism Review. The author of three books, Terryhas served as a polling consultant for more than three hundred candidate and initiative campaigns. He'll help us cut through the message clutter on statewide issues such as earnings taxes and puppy mills, as well as candidates' races with local, state and national implications.
